What could be more elemental: simple linen curtains, unlined, moving in a soft breeze. Hypnotic, and beautiful. They filter harsh light, safeguard your privacy, and frame your window.
When my own ancient linen bedroom curtains finally ended in shreds, I made white Orkney curtains to replace them, layered over light Myriad sheers. I plan to try the sophistication of Black or Charcoal next!
We also make curtains inSmooth and St. Barts linen. Sold as single panel.
Size:
65" wide x 84" long
65" wide x 96" long
2” casing at the top, 5” closed hem at the bottom.
Care:
Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
Material: Woven from 100% European Flax. Heavyweight Orkney 7.7 oz/sq. yd

I always recommend ring-clips – not only do they draw more easily, you can adjust length and create inverted pleats, even hang a blackout layer without interfering with the flow of the linen. The easiest way to choose ring clips is to Google ‘drapery ring clips' and then click Images. No wading through ads or descriptions, just useful pictures.
