I love thin, sturdy linen towels because they dry quickly and rarely smell musty, since linen is inherently antimicrobial. I can't tell you the number of requests I've had for a linen bath towel, and here it is! Be warned – if you prefer soft, fluffy towels, stay away from linen. The crisp ‘hand’ of these Orkney linen towels is bracing and invigorating. An acquired taste, yes, but I love it. Your skin will feel clean, polished and wide awake: for drying your body or bundling wet hair into a turban, or as a lap-lap for a lean man, the Rough Linen bath towel.

Size:
Measures 32" x 52" with a 2" hem all around, mitered corners, and a 4" loop to hang it by.
Care:
Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.

United StatesMost towels just smear water around and don’t soak it up. These towels get you dry and soak up the water . Also , they can be folded up into a compact shape for storage . For backpacking and travel, they are the best towel I have found . They also dry out faster than any other towel I have ever used . They are very durable , and will outlast most other standard towels . I don’t use any other type of bath towel any more . Yes they are more expensive than the fluffy show towels that don’t really work well. These are more like tools that help you do something - get dried off after a bath.
United StatesWonderful! This was an experiment for me, never having used Linen towels for my shower before. I love them…the slight roughness of the linen makes it easy to dry off. The linen absorbs so much water. After my initial drying off with the linen, I switch to a bamboo cotton softer towel to finish. Love these towels.
