Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.

spectacular

These napkins are great - the hems are deep, the linen has a great hand, I wouldn't make any changes at all. I am already debating which color I want next.

Cherry is cherry

I purchased Cherry napkins for the holidays (along with a tea towel set in Cherry). I love this bright, true red so much, as it reminds me of the male cardinals perched on our snowy feeders. The linen looks beautiful on the table and seems to resist stains. After washing, I give the linens a 3-minute tumble in the dryer, pull out and smooth, and let hang dry, which takes about an hour. I'd previously purchased linen napkins from a PB store, but this linen has a much nicer hand, soft and drapey without being stiff.

Second purchase of these

I collect cloth napkins and my Orkney ones are by far my most favored. I’ve had six for several years and have always wanted to grow my collection, hopefully up to around 20. I was pleased to be able to purchase 6 more with a holiday sale. These wash up so nicely, I always wash on cool and hang to dry then iron if a crisper look is desired. I’ve had great luck getting stains out with the Fer à Cheval Marseille stain remover stick. The heavy weight Orkney fabric is sturdy and long lasting.

orkney napkins in Ochre!

I have many items in this fabric. I'm thrilled to now have a color that is a match for the many meals served at my house that include mustard, curry seasonings and turmeric. This color is incredibly versatile and is not limited to one season or "holiday " color scheme. No ironing needed when I hang napkins on a drying rack.

Wonderful Product, Even Better Service

Have bought a few things from this store, all have been wonderful, but the customer service on my recent napkin purchase truly went above and beyond. Jennifer worked with me patiently for weeks to help get me exactly what I wanted, including sending photos and fabric swatches. I cannot recommend Rough Linen products enough!
