Our inspiration began with the iconic California poppy, and as we immersed ourselves in the vibrant culture of India, we discovered the perfect complement in the blue Himalayan poppies. This fusion of influences beautifully expresses the creativity unleashed by our expansion into a region renowned for its rich craft traditions and cultural depth.
Thirsty Orkney linen tea towels — "we only dry our glasses with linen" — I didn't think of making these until linen-loving customers demanded them, but it makes perfect sense - linen is inherently anti-microbial, and stays fresher because it dries quickly.

Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
United StatesThese towels took a while to arrive, but I know it's because they were being hand-made with care. When they finally did show up, I was very impressed with the quality (as always). The color of the California Poppy's was perfect, I absolutely adore the towel. I ordered 2 - one as a gift, and my mom was very pleased with the new towel, too!
