Our Smooth 100% European linen runners are made from two layers of our densely woven 100% linen sheeting, finished with stabilized raw edges and a delicate pin-tucked border. A simple, minimalist choice in a natural, easy-to-care-for fabric. We developed this for a local caterer and loved it so much we had to add it to our collection. Perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to an outdoor table or layer it over a tablecloth for a more formal occasion. Also beautiful on a sideboard or console table - so relaxed and airy.
Also available in our heavier, more textured Orkney fabric.

Care:
Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.

United StatesOn March 1st I received my sumptuous Summer Cover. As usual the quality of linen did not disappoint me. I was however disappointed in the whiteness of the cover or lack of. I thought if I washed it it might brighten up. After 2 washings it still looks more like a very pale butter. Previously I have purchased 1 Smooth Linen table runner and 2 Smooth Linen bed sheets both in white. The Summer Cover is definitely not the whiteness of sheets and runner. I wonder if it was from a different shipment?
