Care:
Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.

I don’t know how I missed reviewing this when I bought it, Summer 2020. I just washed it for the umpteenth time, along with my white, smooth linen duvet cover (which I also ragingly love), various smooth and rough edged pillow cases and an Orkney Summer Cover. Jumped on the website bc I somehow don’t own the St. Bart’s mid weight summer cover. How is that possible?!? The smooth edge is light and airy and I love it on top of my linen duvet in hot AZ temps. Layers for light weight and breath ability are essential. And it comes in a gorgeous pure white that is as perfectly true white as one could ever dream. The Orkney I bought in natural is much heavier and a sturdier but rougher feel. Great for winter or folded as a throw at the end of the bed. And a truly natural natural color. All of Rough Linen’s products are beautiful, comfortable and wash and last so well. And their colors are better than any other bed company! They are worth every dime. Every bed needs a smooth linen summer cover bc it can be any layer on your bed- as a top sheet, over a duvet… it’s delicious.
United StatesConfession...I am a bedding snob. I have numerous linen bed sets from different makers...the smooth linen is my favorite by far. I was concerned it might be too thin, but not so! And I love the summer cover concept. I have been using it as a top sheet that I can really snuggle into and not fight my spouse for coverage. It is just a lovely cool and comfortable experience. I highly recommend. I plan to try St. Barts midweight summer cover next for a Tidewater Virginia winter.
